Motion control technologies have been widely used as fundamental technologies in various industrial and consumer devices such as machine tools, industrial robots, disk drive devices, vehicle drive systems, power assist systems and so on. Demand for motion control technologies started from fast & precise positioning and vibration suppression, and now spreads over advanced control methodologies treating interaction to human and/or environments. Moreover, motion control technologies for vehicle control systems and network control systems are also strongly required. This report presents motion control technologies for high-functionality: 1. Fundamental technologies for motion control 2. Motion control for interaction to human and/or environments 3. Motion control for mobility 4. Motion control for network control |
