	The research on various road facilities such as ITS related facilities, road lighting, in-tunnel safety facilities were made in the committee of Advanced Operation of the Road Facilities, and the research results are described in this report. The area of the research are as follows: tunnel safety facilities, traffic control systems, ubiquitous system for road administrators, bus probe application, state-of -art remote inspection technique, building management system, image processing and compression, superconductivity.
