The multi degrees of freedom motor which can achieve the movements of two or more degrees of freedom by one configuration is expected to be applied to robot and industrial equipment, etc. where the complex movement is needed. As the precise positioning mechanism in the field of industrial equipment, a lot of practical cases are reported about surface-motor which moves freely in two dimension plane. Spherical motor which can achieve movement same as men's eyeball and elbow has been being ardently researched in a lot of organization. Although the practical use case with spherical motor is still few, the number of researches increases that envision the motor for the wide application area from robotics to medical and welfare. Therefore, the R&D of the multi degrees of motor steps into the stage for taking application into consideration. This report pays attention to the performances request for the multi degrees of freedom motor to the industrial applications, robotics applications, medical and welfare applications, sensor system applications, and micro-nano applications with the ongoing researches. Additionally, report the research trends and the element technologies after the report 1029 and 1081. |
