This research reports about the optimization technology for application specific reluctance motors and reluctance torque assisted motors. Reluctance torque assisted motors have various outstanding features; including an extremely wide speed range, high-efficiency drive and Sensorless control from standstill to top speed. All of which can be attributed to flexibility in rotor structure design and good adaptability to inverter drive. Because of these outstanding features, the optimization technology for application specific reluctance motors and reluctance torque assisted motors have developed for each load conditions of many applications.
